Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TeamKitX ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all users of the App, including kit managers, coaches, team members, and administrators.

Description of Service

TeamKitX is a sports equipment management application that provides:

• Equipment inventory tracking and management
• Item assignment and return management
• Member and team roster management
• Equipment condition and location tracking
• Photo documentation and history tracking
• Analytics and reporting features
• Integration with TeamWalletX (optional)

The service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use TeamKitX, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are prohibited from:

• Sharing account credentials with others
• Using the service for illegal activities
• Attempting to breach security measures
• Interfering with other users' use of the service
• Uploading inappropriate or offensive photos

Equipment Management Responsibilities

Kit managers and administrators have additional responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate equipment records
• Documenting equipment condition fairly and honestly
• Processing assignments and returns promptly
• Applying damage and late charges fairly
• Respecting team members' privacy and rights
• Ensuring appropriate photo documentation

Administrators must not:

• Use the service to harass or discriminate
• Impose unreasonable or unfair charges
• Misuse equipment or member data
• Upload photos of individuals without consent

Payment and Subscription Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• Refunds handled according to App Store policies
• Cancellation effective at end of current billing period
• Features may be limited in free tier
• No refunds for partial months or unused periods

You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.

Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create (equipment records, photos, notes), but grant us a license to:

• Store and process your data to provide the service
• Use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement
• Display your content within the app's functionality
• Backup and replicate data for reliability

TeamKitX and its features are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Create derivative works
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

Photo Upload Guidelines

When uploading photos to TeamKitX:

• Photos must be of equipment, not individuals (unless necessary for identification)
• Ensure you have rights to upload all photos
• Do not upload offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content
• Photos should accurately represent equipment condition
• Obtain consent before uploading photos containing identifiable individuals

We reserve the right to remove any photos that violate these guidelines.

TeamWalletX Integration

If you choose to integrate with TeamWalletX:

• You authorize data sharing between both apps
• Damage and late charges may automatically create penalties
• You can disconnect integration at any time
• Both apps' terms of service apply
• Financial transactions are subject to TeamWalletX terms

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

By using the service, you consent to:

• Collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy
• International data transfers as necessary for service provision
• Use of cookies and similar technologies
• Photo storage and sharing within your team

Limitation of Liability

TeamKitX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions or data loss
• Disputes between team members regarding equipment
• Damage or loss of actual physical equipment
• Accuracy of condition assessments or charge calculations
• Third-party actions or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the past 12 months.

Important: TeamKitX is a tracking tool only. We are not responsible for actual equipment, its condition, or any disputes arising from equipment use or charges.

Termination

Either party may terminate these terms at any time:

• You may delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately
• Data may be retained according to our Privacy Policy

Certain provisions survive termination, including limitation of liability and intellectual property rights.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Email to registered users
• Posted updates in the app

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
